Here are some steps you can follow in order to ad Host & DNS records in your GoDaddy account.
Once you're in your account, from the top menu select "Domains" and then click on "My Domains"

Once you're in the domain manager select the domain you're going to work with by clicking on its name. You can jump to a domain by using the search feature or the back and forth control on the top right corner.

Once you're inside your domain's control pannel in the bottom left corner you should see a box that says "Godaddy Host Summary".

Click on the "add" link next to the Host Summary title. It will bring you to a screen that looks like this:

You'll want to consult your server instructions but traditionally the "Host Name" will begin with NS1. After you enter the host name you will need to add a Host IP. Again, check your configuration, most servers only use one ip address for their host. When you're done click ok, wait a few minutes and add your second host.
That's right, Godaddy requires 2 DNS servers, which means you need to add to hosts. In this example both hosts use the same IP address. This time the host name is NS2. Once you're done, click ok and go to the next step.
The reason why we followed the previous step is so that we could perform this one. In the middle of the page you should see something similar to this:
Click on the name server shown in your screen. You will be promted with a screen that will probably look something like the picture below.

Select "Custom nameservers" and you will be promted with the following:

Now that you're in this screen you'll need to add your custom nameservers (or hosts) which are the NS1 and NS2 that we added in Step 3. Once you're done click "OK".
Now all you have to do is wait for the settings to update which can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours with Godaddy, so be patient before you try changing your settings.
